Abacá (Banana Hemp)
The strongest natural fiber. Industrial-grade performance.
Abaca fiber, also known as banana hemp (Musa textilis), is the flagship product of Pacha Fibers. Sourced from Ecuador, it offers exceptional tensile strength, natural saltwater resistance, and long cellulose fibers that make it ideal for the most demanding industrial applications.

Fiber Grades
Extra-fine white fiber from the inner part of the stalk. Characterized by its softness, sheen and high quality. Used in the manufacture of specialty papers such as banknotes and tea-bag filters.
Whitish to cream-colored fiber from the middle layers of the pseudostem. Widely demanded for specialty pulp, technical papers, wrappers, filters and industrial reinforcement applications.
Thicker and stronger fiber with brown to dark-brown tones, extracted from the outer layers. Mainly intended for cordage, fishing nets and high-strength structural uses.
Pineapple Fiber (Piña)
Lightweight, versatile and sustainable.
Pineapple leaf fiber (PALF) is extracted from the leaves of the pineapple plant. It is lightweight, soft, and highly versatile, making it ideal for specialty pulp, composites and textile applications. It is a sustainable byproduct of pineapple agriculture.
